News generation, product placement and regional PR support for the UK's biggest sofa retailer

Client brief

To drive widespread awareness of the ScS brand, with particular focus on creating national headlines via news generation, and securing product placement coverage in home interiors and lifestyle titles, in addition to consistently driving linking coverage to the website.


We set up and managed an “always on” press office function, kicking off with a product showcase to introduce key media and influencers to the brand, and then ensuring we were proactively and reactively engaging with media to convert product placement opportunities into high profile coverage. We used research-led pieces to drive national press coverage, and capitalised on current news agenda items to ensure we created noise around the brand as frequently as possible.
