Driving bookings for Tenpin

Record pre-opening bookings

Building credibility at launch

Locally relevant on a national scale

Supporting launch:

Within the first three months, our PR campaign helped generate record pre-bookings for Tenpin’s new Wakefield site while building immediate awareness and demand around multiple UK openings and refurbishments.

The activity translated local launch momentum into measurable commercial performance, helping Tenpin drive early footfall, strengthen visibility in competitive leisure markets and establish new sites as go-to entertainment destinations from day one.

Tenpin, one of the UK’s leading family entertainment brands, needed a PR partner to support new openings and refurbishments across the UK at both a local and national level.

With new leisure venues competing for attention in crowded regional markets, Tenpin needed to generate strong local awareness quickly and convert launch activity into immediate bookings and customer demand.

The challenge was ensuring each site launch felt locally relevant and community-driven while still maintaining a consistent national brand message around family entertainment, accessibility and value.

The Strategy:

We delivered a targeted local press office and activation campaign combining proactive media outreach, journalist previews, community engagement activity and news-led storytelling tailored to each catchment area.

This included a first-look media tour of the Blackpool site alongside two days of local engagement and data capture activity supporting the Wakefield launch, while wider PR outreach amplified Tenpin’s positioning as a leading family leisure destination.

The campaign secured 50 pieces of local and regional coverage within the first two months, rapidly building credibility, awareness and strong launch-phase visibility across key regional markets.
